Never Forget That
with Perseverance Anything Can Be Done in English Text Sms Messages |
Ahmad lives in a sleepy little village nestled between hills where there is a family consisting of a boy named Ahmad. Life was a struggle for the family since it was very poor. Ahmad's father was a blacksmith, and his palms were roughened due to years of labor, while his mother took care of their little home, wherein the heart's warmth always lingered. Though terribly challenged, Ahmad's parents find even the smallest possible opportunity to inspire him to have grand dreams and not give up on life.
Ahmad was a bright, curious boy. Unlike the other children of the village who spend their time outside playing, reading took him away into another world he would see beyond the pages of books - stories about faraway lands with incredible inventions and people who changed the earth. He dreamt of being a scientist, one who could make a difference. But then again, dreams for Ahmad were so far-fetched because opportunities were scarce in a village like this.
After completing household chores every day, Ahmad would race off to the school in their little village, which was miles away and made slippery by muddy paths. The school is basic - one teacher and a lot of students in the class. But for Ahmad, it didn't matter. He made the most out of every lesson, taking everything in. Even when the kids teased him, he did not care and remained focused on his studies.
His family could not afford to acquire him many books, but it could not demoralize him. Instead, he would borrow books from the library in the nearby town and sit at night reading by the glow of a small oil lamp. His interest in knowledge grew like wildfire daily and gave birth to his mind soaring under inspiration drawn from these new ideas. He brought forward fantastic ideas and ways he could change the lives of people living in his village, but deep in his heart, the boy feared that dreams were probably bigger than himself.
One evening, while Ahmad was sitting at the kitchen table, his father turned in from the long day of work with the weariness visible on his face. He said, "Ahmad," as he sighed again, "I wish I could give you more. Maybe you should think of taking a trade, like I did. I want better for you, but there's only so much that could be done."
Ahmad’s heart sank at his words. Not in the least did he show it. He knew that his father's statements emanated out of love and concern. Still, he wouldn't let go of his dreams. "Father, I know you have worked hard that we should have a good life, but there is so much more that I feel I still need to do. I want to make a difference. Please, let me keep studying."
In those eyes, his father saw the incendiary determination on the part of his son. Quietly nodding, he understood that Ahmad's zeal was something out of the world. "My son, I will support whatever your choice will be. Just don't lose your perspective on your dreams."
Ahmad, on the next day, increased the target and launched an even jigger, bigger mission. Patiently, he would wait and search for that golden opportunity to be able to fulfill his dreams despite the hurdles that lay in his path.
He even began teaching those other children of the village, sharing with them knowledge from his own experience even when he had scarce means. Ahmad believed education to be the best means of unlocking the door to a better future for himself and all those around him.
He spent years putting effort into what he believed in, and soon it began paying off. His status grew in the village as a clever student as well as a leader. One day, a teacher who worked in a nearby city went to his school and saw Ahmad's love for learning. She awarded him a scholarship to a much esteemed university - a dream come true. However, his family was rejoicing but still held worry about how long he would travel far and what he would need to leave behind.
Ahmad had transferred himself to the city with the support of his family, where he was introduced to a different world full of new ideas and all possibilities. That made the city intimidatingly vast and, at times make him feel overwhelmed. He had moments of self-doubt and questioned if he indeed could cut it in that highly competitive environment. This would often lead him into thoughts of quitting, but then he would remember his father's words and the sacrifices the family had made to bring him this far.
Ahmad worked hard, sometimes staying up long into the night with books and attending every class. He quickly earned his professors' and fellow students' respect, not just for brains but also for perseverance and humility. In time, he became famous as one of the top students in the school.
Finally, Ahmad passed with flying colors and got a job in a well-known research institute. He turned into a scientist, working on remarkable projects concerning technology and health care improvement. But with all the above going around him, Ahmad never forgot his roots and always made it a point to come back to his village now and then to give scholarships to the most brilliant young minds there and to teach them the value of hard work and education.
It was not an easy ride for Ahmad. There were hurdles, self-doubts, and many kinds of problems along the way that threatened to shatter his dreams. Still, he kept the belief that nothing was impossible with determination, sacrifice, and a willingness to never give up.
His story thus became a beacon for scores of children from his village and beyond. For him, it was proof that dreams would always take you where they need to go regardless of where they started. Through hard work and complete dedication and believing in himself, Ahmad changed not only his life but also that of many others.
The main point of his message is: dream as much as you can; there's no such a thing as impossible; never forget that with perseverance, anything can be done.
